Powerhouse Almond Matcha Superfood Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted natural almond butter
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 medium frozen banana
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 1 cup baby kale, packed
- 1/2 cup frozen mango pieces
- 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
- 3/4 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth.
Serve immediately.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk (see my almond milk recipe)
- 2 bananas, smashed (I used frozen)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup strawberries (about 3 strawberries) or 1 Tbsp strawberry jam
Preparation
Place ingredients in a high speed blender like Blendtec for super smooth texture, blend on high.If using a regular blender put milk and strawberries in then blend.Next, add banana pieces and peanut butter, process until smooth.
Garnish with crushed peanuts and serve.
